PEMDAS says that multiplication comes before addition and subtraction. So we would do -5 x 4 first, which is -20. Then, write out the expression, which would be 30-20+2. Now we just subtract 30 and 20, which is 10, then add 2, which is 12. Therefore, the answer is 12
