About elitism, there is nothing admirable. Pluralism has no negative aspects, in my opinion.
The main distinction between these two groups is that the elites are recognized for attending elite institutions and are primarily concerned with their own financial security; if there is a chance to make a lot of money, they will grab it. Except when it benefits them in some way, they don't really care what the people have to say.
Elitism is the idea that those who belong to an elite—a small group of people thought to possess an inherent quality, high intelligence, wealth, power, notoriety, special skills, or experience—are more likely to benefit society as a whole and should therefore have more influence or authority than others.
