Part A - Plan Your Argument
First, plan how you'll organize your argument. In the table, describe the claims, reasons,
and evidence you'll include in each section of your argument. Include your plan for the
introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion of your argument. You do not have to
use all the rows provided for body paragraphs. In addition, you can choose where and how
you place your counterclaims and rebuttal.
As you complete this table, you will locate reliable sources to find credible, relevant
evidence. You will need to include at least two difference types of evidence. Be sure to
save a finalized copy of this outline in the Notebook tool.
