The reason for my letter today is to let you know how we have developed the American society that you started more than 200 years ago. At present all the affairs of our nation are growing and we are one of the world powers of the Earth.
Our country has been characterized by union, freedom and fraternity as fundamental principles and all citizens faithfully believe in these purposes. However, in recent years we have experienced an environment of polarization due to the difference in thinking between the two Republican and Democratic political parties.
This division has turned the government and politics into a battlefield between these two parties to compete for the power to impose their vision of the different issues of our country. Despite this, citizens have always been ready to maintain unity and not allow ideological divisions to weaken the solidity of our nation.
