Aristotle established his own school named lyceum including a group of brilliant people (researchers) also the classes were free of cost.

it was a secretive and exclusive boys club made in a gymnasium it was not a private club as it includes various lectures which took place in the open to the public.

Also , Aristotle's lyceum was a school which was set up when Alexander the Areat was conquering Asia.
