What is Gathering information?
- The procedure of learning is referred to as gathering information. It is not knowledge in and of itself. When a story's focus is on education, it is the education that is being gathered, not the education that has been acquired in the end, that is of concern. Information gathering does not always have to be intellectual.
- One could pick up communication skills or learn about love. It's not even necessary to gather new information because occasionally learning can be achieved by merely seeing previously acquired knowledge from a new angle or perspective.
- It doesn't matter if one is learning to come to a specific idea or only to absorb information. Gathering Information is the preferred term as long as the emphasis is on the information gathering or learning process.
