After installing Qualified Infrastructure, current customers of a Local Power Company or TVA are responsible for working with them to coordinate any adjustments to any existing transmission or distribution facilities and for compensating them, as necessary, for any costs incurred.
What is local power company?
- Each Qualified Producer will be required to enter into a contract with TVA (through TVA's TOPS) and the applicable Local Power Company system (or other electric system) for the parallel operation of their production facilities with the TVA transmission system and directly connected to it.
- The electrical work must be completed in compliance with all the specifications of the most recent edition of the Philippine Electrical Code, as well as the requirements of the local power company and the rules and ordinance of the Baguio City enforcement authorities.
- Deliveries of electric energy by Local Power Company to Qualified Producer must be made under separate agreements from this Agreement, must be metered and accounted for separately from the deliveries of electric energy made by Qualified Producer to TVA under this Agreement, and must otherwise be provided in accordance with the rates, laws, and service policies that apply to such service provided by Local Power Company to Qualified Producer.
