Hello there.

C.these were the times that Egyptian civilization was lead by the most powerful and successful rulers

Answer:

C. these were the times that Egyptian civilization was lead by the most powerful and successful rulers

Explanation:

The history of Egypt is divided into three phases: the Old Empire; Middle Empire and the New Empire.

Over these three periods, Egypt reached its apogee. However, from the 7th century BC Egypt was invaded by various peoples and lost its former splendor.

During the Middle Kingdom, the pharaohs regained political power in Egypt. The capital became Thebes.

During this period, territorial conquests brought economic prosperity. But some internal unrest would again weaken the empire, which made it possible, around 1750 BC, for the invasion of the Hyksos, a nomadic people of Asian origin. The Hyksos remained in Egypt for about 170 years.
