Native Americans died in their large numbers because they had no resistance to European diseases.
This was through the visitation that they had from the European powers then at the periods of expedition. These people came to the area with a lot of advantageous goods and disadvantageous ones. One of the disadvantageous goods that they brought to the native Americans were the diseases.
Such diseases such as small pox came to the Americas via the White men and due to the fact that the natives had no resistance, it killed a lot of numbers in their numbers.
The natives had no immunity to the diseases that the British and the other Europeans brought to the Americas. The Natives lost a great number of them and some tribes were wiped out.
