Racial equality has not yet been achieved in America due to the fact that there is still structural racism in American society, perceived by the fact that the black population is still discriminated against and occupy lower positions of employment compared to whites, in addition to lower family income and levels of schooling.
It is also noticed that crime levels are higher among the black population due to the marginalization and social exclusion suffered by these individuals, as seen in recent cases of police violence suffered by innocent citizens based only on race.
It is essential that there are equal conditions between blacks and whites, demonstrated through indices that show the same levels of employment, political participation, income and education.
Therefore, for this purpose, it is essential that there is greater dissemination of information on equity in social institutions, in addition to the creation of public policies for greater opportunities for discriminated groups.
