        The three primary types of intervention are  Direct Service, Program Planning, and Administration. Direct Service: Services provided to clients, and the family members of clients, to help them make changes for a better quality of life. Program Planning: A detailed outline of how the best possible services can be provided to help a client and/or an organization. Administration is: Management level; works to provide leadership and funding to the organization. They are important for clients because they provide therapy, ​Consultations, ​Effective discipline strategies, ​Crisis treatment, planning, and management, ​Family counseling, and ​Participation in the development of functional assessment and behavior intervention plans.
