Tropical rainforests are warm and moist; while temperate rainforests are cool. Tropical rainforests have hundreds of tree spicies; while temperate rainforests have very few trees. Hope I helped :)

The major difference between temperate rain forests and tropical rain forests is that -

Temperate rain forest : Temperate rain forests are found along some coasts in temperate zones. These forests are cool. These forests are found on the Pacific coast of North America

Tropical rain forest : Tropical rain forest are found close to the equator and between the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. These forests are warm and moist. These are found in Central and South America, Africa, Asia and Australia. These are also called ever green rain forests.
