Lenny: He is seen as a huge man and an opposite of George. He is seen to be strong and possesses the strength of a bear.

George: He is seen as a protective man and also caring. He cares for his friend, Lenny. George and Lenny have been friends since childhood.

Curley: He is seen to be someone who is aggressive and likes picking up fights. Curley is seen to be insecure as he doesn't like seeing other men talking with his wife. He is proud too.

Curley’s wife: Her name wasn't mentioned in the story. She is objectified as the author didn't too regard her by telling readers her name.

Crooks: He is seen as the only black man in the ranch. He is segregated as he experiences issues of racism and discrimination.
