Western Asia is home to Palestine, often known as the State of Palestine. The West Bank is currently divided into 165 Palestinian enclaves that are partially governed by the Palestinian National Authority (PNA), as a result of the Oslo Accords of 1993–1995; the remainder, which includes 200 Israeli settlements, is fully governed by Israel. The Gaza Strip is governed by the militant Islamic organisation Hamas, and Egypt and Israel have been enforcing a long-term siege on it since 2007.
Therefore, impacts included global uprisings and political transformations. Additionally, it led to the drawing of new borders and decided the future of kingdoms. Nobody understands this better than the Palestinians, whose future was negatively impacted by post-war support for Jewish immigration which affected Palestine.
