In order to enter in an activity or action, there must be a requirement. A process's exit criteria are a set of conditions that must be met before moving on to the subsequent activity or task. Before heading downstairs in the morning, I have a requirement to brush my teeth; otherwise, I won't feel as clean or refreshed. One exit requirement is that I must eat breakfast before beginning any assignment since otherwise, I won't be able to concentrate.
