In middle eastern countries such as Iran and Iraq, many deaths have been caused by earthquakes mainly because of lack of preparedness and awareness. Also these areas are highly sensitive of tectonic activity beacause of Plate tectonics.

Hence, due to lack of awareness, overpopulation, and proper resources to counter these natural calamities middle eastern countries such as Iran and Iraq has to suffer many deaths due to Earthquake as also these countries fall into areas are tectonically sensitive.
