Respuesta :

Huck is kept imprisoned by Pap in a hut in the woods.

How does Huck escape?

Huck's escape strategy entails sawing a hole in the cabin wall so he can crawl out, dragging all the supplies and food to a secret canoe, using an axe to slam the cabin door, killing a wild pig and smearing its blood all over the place, and then dragging a bag of rocks to make it appear as though his body was being dragged away. He carried out all of this in order to make Pap believe that somebody had sneaked into the cabin, looted them, and murdered Huck. He is anxious to prevent Pap and the Widow from looking for him. Huck is taken by Pap to a cottage in the woods where he is imprisoned. The Widow had warned him to avoid her home, and he did it out of resentment for not being able to retrieve Huck's money.
