In order to achieve flow, Csikszentmihályi lays out the following three conditions: Goals are clear. Feedback is immediate. A balance exists between opportunity and capacity.
Psychological Flow captures the positive mental state of being completely absorbed, focused, and involved in your activities at a certain point in time, as well as deriving enjoyment from being engaged in that activity.
In Csikszentmihalyi's words, flow is a state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter; the experience is so enjoyable that people will continue to do it even at great cost, for the sheer sake of doing it.
