Collagraph printing is different to relief or intaglio methods because the artists builds up rather than cuts into the surface that is to be linked with the methods.

Collagraph printing is made by glueing the different materials with cardboard and make a designing or creating a kind of collage. Examples of some materials used in collagraph printing  such as carborundum, sandpapers, textiles, bubble wrap, leaves and grass.

Intaglio printing method is opposite of relief painting because in this printing is done from ink that is below the surface of the plates. It is used for banknotes, passports and stamps of postage.
