Holodomor means death by hunger in Ukraine. It refers to starvation of millions of Ukraainian in 1932 to 33 in the result of soviet policies. It was caused by feeling threatened the Ukranian strengthening cultural autonomy.

It took to measured that destroyed their peasantry and intellectual elites to protect them from seeking independence for Ukraine. It was also known as the Terro- Famine or the great famine and a man made famine in soviet.
