What is the frequency of a wave that has a wave speed of 20 m/s and a wavelength of 0.50
(Can you tell me how to solve the problem as well so that way I don't have trouble doing this again.)

Respuesta :

Velocity of a wave = frequency × wavelength

you are given the velocity(speed) and the wavelength, they want you to solve for the frequency.  so you can plug in the values that you are given and solve for the unknown. This is where your algebra skills come in :)

20m/s = f × 0.50
20/0.50 = f
40 Hertz = f   or  f = 40 Hertz

hope this helps :)

40 Hertz is what I got :)
