The shape above has which type of symmetry Note the picture is actually below lol A line symmetry only B point symmetry only C point and line symmetry D no symm class=

Respuesta :

This figure does NOT have line symmetry. We cannot cut this figure in half along the center point where it will mirror over itself perfectly.

There is however point symmetry. Point symmetry is where we can rotate the figure a certain number of degrees (between 0 and 360, not including either value) to have it match up with itself. In this case, we can rotate it 180 degrees and the "before" and "after" pictures will match perfectly.

Answer: B) point symmetry only

Answer:- B. is the right option. The shape has point symmetry only.

Explanation:-

Point symmetry is when each part has a corresponding identical part such that the distance from the central point is same but in the opposite direction.

⇒The figure has point symmetry.

If you can flip a geometric figure across a line and the figure looks unchanged, then the figure has line symmetry.

For the given shape there is no line of symmetry which create two mirror-image halves.

The shape has point symmetry only.
