Lucas is making a recipe that requires 1/4 cup of wheat flour and 1 7/8 cups of white flour. Altogether, how many cups of flour does the recipe require?

2 1/8 bc 1/4=2/8 so 1 7/8+2/8 = 1 9/8 which =2 1/8
So make equivalent fractions for 17/8 and 1/4 so 1/4 is 2/8 then add 17/8 and 2/8 together and you get the answer
