A reference page because you need your sources cited.

A research paper is a piece of academic writing based on it´s author original research on a particular topic and the analysis an interpretation of what the research discovered. It´s objective is to broadcast in a clear and precise way the result of an investigation or the develop of experimental  methods.

The way of writting the paper must be carefully written to express clear and synthetic information. It must contain a referene list to contextualize, verify and justify the previous information of the work. It definetely mustn´t contain plagiarism that are ideas stole from somewhere else without consulting the author of that idea. If the paper is about how to realize a proccess it must be well detailed and with all the information neccessary to produce the same effects.

If you don´t add a reference list it could be consider that as plagiarism also because you´re kind of stealing someone else ideas. A cover page is not neccessary but its good to the view of the research paper. And multimedia is also not neccessary but it could be helpfull is you are trying to explain some proccess or making the information more easy to read.

Usually they have a standarized structure, they began with the title; it is the presentation of the paper and must express the problem and how it was faced. Right under the title goes the author name or names. Then an abstract that must present the context of the study, it´s purpose, the basic procedal, the major discoveries and it´s conlusion.

After this presentation it goes what it is known as IMRAD (Introduction, Methods and Materials, Results and Discussion), within this goes the explanation of the research the way it was faced, the results get from the investigation and finally a discussion about the results obtained. After this goes the bibliography  or reference list with the quotes taken from somewhere else.

I hope this answer hel you. Regards
