Scientists created a sheep named Dolly through the process of cloning. Which statement is a difference between Dolly and animals produced by sexual reproduction? A. Dolly has a mix of genes from her foster mother and the sheep that donated a nucleus of one of its cells. B. Dolly’s DNA comes from a single cell taken from an adult individual. C. The DNA molecules in each of Dolly’s cells are all the same. D. Dolly is the same genetically to her offspring.

Respuesta :

B. Dolly’s DNA comes from a single cell taken from an adult individual.

This is really interesting though. They literally take a cell out of some part of the mother (say, the utter)  and then an egg from the mother. They the extract the nucleus from the utter cell, and place it into the egg. They then put the egg back into the mother and let it grow. Basically, men are useless if this method could be perfected and efficient enough to replace sexual reproduction with limited negative effects.
