The contextual clues to help determine the meaning of conservatism are "forward-seeing" and "established". Since the playwright is described as being "forward-seeing", we know that he is doing something different. Also the word established is similar to traditional.

The sentence talks about this happening during a "realistic phrase" and talks about the theatre in Paris being famous. These two clues show us that emulated most likely means modeled on.

3. The Globe Theatre was closed after the Puritan protest, while the Mosow Art Theatre still operates.

Simply put these statements are true about both of the theaters. This makes it the best answer.

Younger female roles, like Juliet, would often be played by boys. Their voices had not yet hit puberty so it was easier for them to sound like girls.
