Mass production. He was inspired by the meat industry to make assembly lines. Workers were able to produce cars much faster thanks to Ford.

With his assembly lines, Henry Ford improved the mass production. This innovation developed by Henry Ford reduced the time devoted to build a car from more than 12 hours to two hours and 30 minutes.

The assembly line consists on an manufacturinf process in which parts are added in sequence until the final assembly is produced.

The parts are moving to the assembly work and the semi-finished assembly  is moving from work station to work station, so that, a finished product can be assembled faster and with less labor than by having workers carry parts to a stationary piece for assembly.
