So I would do 15-3 first which equals 12.
Then you divide each side by 3 to get the square root of x on its own. Divide 12 by 3.
So it will be square root x = 4
Then you want to get rid of the square root so you do (square root x) squared. Square the 4 as well.
So you have x=4 squared
So x= 16. If you want want to make sure it's right plug it into the equation: )
