The correct answers are 1 and 4.

1- At the begining of the play, when Peter Ivanovich tells Gerasim that Ivan's death is a sad thing, Gerasim merely says that everyone dies some day.

Gerasim accepts death and illness as inevitable parts of life.

4- Gerasim is a character filled with compassion and empathy for his fellow human beings. The well-being of others is very important to him, and this is why he tries to help his master as much as he can, both physically and spiritually.
