A lot of factors went into why it was so easy to conquer the Africa a few of them being -large language barriers between tribes making it harder to relay information between each other to warn of European -they didn't necessarily have a central form of government or unity, meaning it was usually each tribe protecting it selfs rather that all working together -and lastly they lacked in weapons that could match the Europeans in power, (most parts of Africa didn't use metal weapons) evidently making it easier for them to lose fights
