Abigail is 8years older than Cynthia. Twenty years ago Abigail was three times as old as Cynthia. How old are each now?

 Abigail would be 52 and Cynthia would be 44.

20 + 8 = 28

8 x 3 = 24

28 + 24 = 52

52 - 8 = 44
