A small circular pool is enclosed in a square. Find the area inside the square but outside the circle.

Respuesta :

The diameter of the pool = the side of the square. Suppose it's d.
A(d) = A(square) - A(circle)
A(d) = d^2 - 1/4×phi×d^2 = d^2 (1 - phi/4)
