3 2/3 feet of thread is = (3 × 3) +2 = 11/3 =3.67
so twice this will be 3.67 ×2 = 7.34

question 2 : 1 box = 3.5 ounces
4 1/7 boxes = how many ounces

4 1/7 = (7×4 ) + 1 = 28 + 1 = 29 / 7 = 4.14

boxes ounces
