Okay physical changes happen when lets say you hit glass with a hammer. The glass broke so its physical not chemical properties. But if you were to melt the glass and add lets say molten steel (obviously you can't do this this is just an example) The glass once it cools will no longer be glass it will be a combination of glass and steel.
