How does Beauty act when she sees the grave and learns she is expected to step into it?

She acts surprised and rather distraught.

Beauty is shocked and terrified in knowing that she must go into the grave and die with Everyman. She immediately takes her things and tries to run away. From her last statement, it is revealed that her major motivations for going with Everyman was his wealth but upon learning that she must end her life to be with him, she realizes that she values her life more than any gold.
