Nitric acid has a wide range of uses. Being a good oxidizing agents nitric acid is used in many industries. It is used to make may products that we use in day to day activities, for example , it is used to make fertilizers such as ammonium nitrate, used to make explosives, rocket propellant, etc.
Nitric acid is also used in manufucture of dyes, perfumes and drugs among other products.
