A race may possess several ethnicities. For example, African blacks (a human race) have different ethnical tribes, with a different belief system and a very diverse cultural wealth, sometimes within the same country.
This means that race is a concept that obeys parameters to define different populations of the same biological species. Ethnicities are different associations belonging to the same race.
