Respuesta :

A. Many people are able to lose weight with the diet.

Some people think that a low-carbohydrate diet is healthy as many individuals can lose weight with a low-carbohydrate diet.

• One knows that our body accumulates a lot of carbohydrates in the liver and muscles. It utilizes a storage form of glucose called glycogen that innervates the body with glucose. This stored glycogen in the muscles and liver seems to combine with water.

• Thus, when one reduces the intake of carbohydrates, the storage of glycogen goes down, and one loses a lot of water weight, therefore, loses weight.

• Apart from this, the low carbohydrate diet seems to reduce the levels of insulin drastically, making the kidney shed an additional amount of water and sodium.

• This is the prime reason, for the loss of water weight, and eventually the loss of body weight.

Thus, its indirect effect on the loss of body weight many people thinks that the low-carbohydrate diet is healthy. Therefore, option A is correct.
