1. Nick moves from his hometown in Minnesota
2. Nick moves into a small house described as a "weather beaten cardboard bungalow" on "that slender riotous island that extends itself due east of new york". He lives right next to gatsby
3. Daisy is Nick's Cousin, She is married to Tom Buchanan who is being unfaithful with his marriage and seeing a women named Myrtle Wilson. Myrtle is married to George Wilson who owns a shop "George Wilson's garage is a run-down auto shop at the edge of the Valley of Ashes that is owned by George Wilson."
4. Gatsby and Daisy use to have a thing with each other but Gatsby had to join the war and during that time Daisy got with Tom and since then she's even had a daughter. One of my favorite lines from Daisy when talking about her daughter is this "And I hope she'll be a fool—that's the best thing a girl can be in this world, a beautiful little fool."
5. In the end Daisy is driving Gatsby's car and hits Myrtle to which Myrtle is no more. George finds out and is furious and Tom lies and tells George that it was Gatsby that hit Myrtle. George then takes out Gatsby and himself.
6. The only people at Gatsby's funeral were Nick, Owl Eyes, A few servants, and Gatsby's Father Henry C. Gatz.
7. Gatsby's real name is James Gatz
