okay so I don't know if this is accurate but I'll give it a try. Since they babies are born frogs and not tadpoles that makes it easier for them to have a good survival rate because tadpoles are usually born in water were its environment is humid not dry. this is helpful because of what I said before( their survival rates) and they don't have to be in a humid and wet place to grow up in .
