Conflict theorists often look at social stratification in society. Describe two different situations or examples of stratification that you have witnessed in your own life. For example, where do you see different levels of wealth or power in society or have you witnessed acts of discrimination that illustrate differing levels of power? PLEASE I NEED HELP !

Conflict theories posit that society is build on by dominance and power. This would denote social stratification. This can be observed in how people are clustered in household as rich, middle and poor, for instance.

Social stratification is an important element of all societies. This refers to the level of power that different groups in society have when compared to others. This is an aspect of culture that conflict theorists study deeply. One example of this kind of conflict stratification would be that of employees and bosses. Bosses are given more power in the workplace when compared to employees. Another example would be that of prisoners and guards in a prison.
