Mariana is 10 years old and has grown 7 inches in 2 years. When she was 8 years old, she was 52 inches tall and began recording her height. Mariana writes and graphs a function that models her height in inches over time in years. What is the initial value for this function?

45 I think. Don't you just do 52 - 7. She's 10 now and so you take out 2 years and have 8. Not sure but I think :)
