A mutation in a certain type of bees allows for the bees to pollenate only one type of flower. How could this mutation be both a benefit and risk to the organisms? Justify your response in two or more complete sentences.

It is a benefit because we are certain that that type of flower will greatly increase in population because that bee will always be around to pollinate it.  However, if either that type of bee or the flower are absent, then the population of the other will suffer.

One of the advantages that bees will have is that by focusing solely on pollinating a species of plant, an increase in the population of this plant will be generated because pollination generates the seed for the reproduction of the plant. In this way the availability of pollen and Nectar will be greater. The disadvantage that can occur is that if the plant disappears (for a pest predation or disease) from the bee's pecoreo zone, these bees will also die because they will not have how to feed
