Answer:
Animals are a lower life form and have no understanding.
Explanation:
Richard Connell's story "The Most Dangerous Game" tells the story of how a big time hunter became the hunted in a surprising twist of circumstances. Sanger Rainsford experiences the life of a hunted animal on the island owned by Colonel Zaroff.
At the start of the story, we see Sanger Rainsford and his friend Whitney sailing towards their destination of the Amazon river. They were big game hunters and were on their way to hunt jaguars when Whitney exclaims that even though hunting was the best sport for the hunter, it isn't so for the jaguar. This prompt Rainsford to reply that animals "have no understanding". Whitney then says that they do have understanding, an understanding of "fear. The fear of pain and the fear of death."
