Fellowship makes three promises to Everyman, who is scared and feels desperate. The first promise that Fellowship makes is that he will never forsake or turn his back on Everyman.
The second Fellowship's promise is that he will try to make things right, and correct the mistakes which Everyman made in the past, which caused his sorrow.
Finally, he promises to stick with Everyman even if he goes to hell.
Unfortunately, it later turns out all the promises were hasty and Fellowship doesn't stay true to them.
