Since it is a regular polygon you only need the side length...

A(n,s)=ns^2/(4tan(180/n)), n=number of sides and s=side length

A(6,12)=6*144/(4tan(180/6))

A(6,12)=216/tan30 yd^2

A=374.1yd^2  (to nearest tenth of a square yard)
