Well you can say evaluate whether you stand for Republican values or Democratic. American is usually recognized as a democratic society and many people oppose the republicans because they believe they are a people who try to control and brainwash the masses. Democratic usually represents liberal values and freedom to do as you want while Republicans represent or prize more conservative values . So this is the system that represents every American.
