The Dasht-e Kavir is a low plain and is flat land and is located in the massive desert that is a large area lying in the middle of the Iranian peninsula and it's about more than 800 km long and has a total surface area of the 77,600 km square.
The area is a desertic stretch and has an about large mountain ranges and that provide runoff to the large climatic ranges like the seasonal lakes, the marshlands, and the playas. The desert is covered by the sand, pebbles and the marshes.
The vegetation of this area is the hot and arid climate type with the saline soils of plant species like the shrubs and the grasses all that have adapted to the desert areas of the plateaus.
