For # 1, the answer will be 1 because of the exponential rule [tex] a^{0} = 1[/tex].

#2, the answer is going to be [tex] x^{4} [/tex] because of the exponential rule [tex] a^{-b} = \frac{1}{a ^{b} } [/tex].

#3. I'm not sure that this could be simplified any further.

#4  To get the answer to this question, we must apply the distributive property, along with the exponential rule [tex]a ^{m} × a ^{n} = a ^{m+n} [/tex]. When we apply these properties, we'll get [tex]- \frac{3}{x^4} [/tex]

For the other questions, they all apply the Laws of Exponents.
