The advantage of using confidence interval can be associated with the population. A well-represented confidence interval of 95% can say that the parameter of the total population has been met. -Muhammad Imdadullah, https://itfeature.com
The disadvantage happens when the interval does not represent the parameter. If the interval is not within and was actually outside of it comes the problem. The interval is still randomly based and does not give the exact response of the population.
